Description Hello all! Here's a painting I just finished up this afternoon. I've been working on it for a while now (I started it before I went to the show in March), so it's nice that it's done. This will be my piece that I'll enter in Birds in Art this year. We'll have to see if it gets accepted. Hope you all enjoy it!

The title fits this piece so well! The glow and the shape of the swan look so graceful. I love the shading and details in the feathers, too. Awesome work!

Have You tried oil paint? You can add wonderful features for the plumage with just one layers onto the acrylics
(it worked for me for fur as well)

Yes, I've actually done quite a few oils. I'm actually working on a large oil of a moose currently. The effects you can get with them are great!
