Okay, first realistic digital painting ever! Not too much of an attempt with this one, just trying to become familiar with new techniques. You can definitely tell there's been improvement!Photoshop CS2 and mouse.

I love the way the glowing lights in the background accent the dapples on the neck. The ears are beautifully shaped, the neck is perfectly arched, and the face is wonderfully refined. The border is beautiful and perfectly simple, it adds to the horse instead of detracts.
