Description
This was a colab with my dear friend at work Rhapsody Artajo. She dose wonderful people and people-like beings. She drew this picture of mermaids and said "Here! Color it!" So I did ^_^ I had fun doing it. I took my time to do the scales in the tail and adding highlights and the hair.We kind of called them our selves, I'm the one in green and I tried to do the best I could for our different hair colors, but the scanner doesn't give this picture any fame

You did a great job on the coloring. I know how hard colored pencils are to use because I color my art in them. They require careful handling to achieve the right affect, and you nailed it!

Thank you very much, I'm honored to get such praise from fellow pencil artist! You have some nice pieces in your gallery and I can see you are getting the hang more and more. Just keep it up, the real trick is layers, keeping soft and using the SIDE of the pencil for large flat areas, and when blending, lay down the lighter color first and then blend with it again over any darker/shading colors
