Excellent image.
My only criticism would be the out-of-focus snowman, though, this can be explained by the little girl being the focal point and subject of your image.
You've captured her skin tones perfectly to reinforce the concept that this was taken in either winter, or a place which is snow-bound all year. The beautiful rosey cheeks, blue eyes and pink lips allude to a sense of innocence; especially considering it's a child.

I like how they're looking at each other. The girl looks like, I don't know exactly what, not surprised. More like thinking, trying to remember, silent conversations inside her head wondering if this is the same one she met last year. Smiling. It's a lovely photograph of a beautiful moment. One of those moments that passes unnoticed to most. Thank you for sharing it.

Being from Chicago orginally then moving to Arizona I can put this picture in such a unique light.
I miss snow, and when i visit every so often for the winter, I make a snow man. And i always use the same hat and scarf only now I do it with my younger cousins. Still at the end I look at the snowman and smile because He is an old friend. Beautiful shot, brought back some happy memories.
