About drawing:
I wanted it to look like an old photo (reference WAS an old one xD) So I used tea to colour paper. Randomly.
The rest is one 8B pencil
Format is as always smaller than A4. Time... 4,5-5 h.ah and YOU HAVE NO FOCKING PERMISSION TO USE ANY OF MY DRAWING OR ORIGINAL IDEAS !

well it depends. i don't know if you have ever drawn portraits, but there is one simple rule: try to draw exactly what you see. and after it comes try to express shade in the same way as on the original photo. if the shadde is black then you must use 7,8 b pencil to express the darkness, not HB

the very first portrait I've ever done is this one [link] even though I did know nothing about blending pencil I knew how each tone should look like. Try it, it's really not this hard. all you must do is to keep looking at reference to make sure proportions are ggod. chcek proportions all time

Shading and blending's not hard, I just have trouble with proportions. I've never even done a portrait before, but my first (and currently only) deviation drove me nuts. far from perfect, but once I was done, I was pretty satisfied.
