Wow, love this sky. It would look AMAZING in HDR, but I know one doesn't normally think about that kind of thing at the time.

Thanks alot This actually is HDR but i tried to make it subtle. With alot of my shots i take atleast 3 different exposures so there is always the possibility of a HDR if needed Thanks for the comment.

Excellent idea. I noticed after I left you the comment that the grass does seem to have multiple exposures within it, but it's nicely subtle, I wouldn't have been sure unless you confirmed it.

this is also stunning, the contrast of the lively orange and the bright green, and the form of the clouds forming lines in the sky that point toward the sinking sun. Wonderful!!

Thanks this is in England along the ridgeway which is one of the oldest roman roads in england.

The hills are stunning in this, and the sky is absolutely beautiful. I love how the clouds look like they're pointing toward the sun.

Thanks sometimes it's amazing what's above you. I looked up after a 2-3 hour hike and saw these beautiful whispy clouds so when shooting the sunset I tried it in portrait at the min focal range and I was able to include them all

Yeah i agree, sometimes it's nice to look in places that we always see but never take much notice of and see how much beauty there really is.

Thank you I was using my sigma 10-20mm and no filters just the usual uv filter. I should mention this is HDR but it was just to get the sunburst effect. Without doing hdr it just wasn't possible to have the sunburst showing as well as this which is how it really was. Thanks for the comments

Soemtimes it's the only way to get it how you want you know? I believe if it's done well it can look great but many people tend to overdo it. I hope mine are done well, to my eyes they don't look overdone (apart from 1 i think in my gallery which i need to fix)
