Description It has been so long since I have sat down and done a traditional media work...if I think about it, it's actually been two years...kinda scary.

This was done in class while listening to the teacher lecture. I really liked the linework despite the anatomical flaws and decided to color it. XD I decided while I was at it I would work on a new coloring style and this is what I came up with. I like it but if I continue it will need some practice. The bg was just kinda thrown together so it isn't anything special.

A very striking piece of traditional work that really demonstrates a tremendous amount of talent you hold. You certainly know a thing or two about working with this medium yet not only that, but a illustrative style of drawing that is captivating and energetic.

With the colouring, you certainly know a great deal of the medium and to apply it well to the work. THe selection hues and mixture of shading is very well explored and the approach of using the cell shading form is interesting. It works well and you add upon your own charm to spice things up.

XD Nope, I've never owned copics, nor do I have the money to afford such. I would like to try them out some day though, they look like really nice markers. For this piece though I used standard crayola and rose art markers. I have like 500 of the damn things XD so it's difficult to say which I used more of. Thanks very much!

This has got to be one of the most beautiful pictures I've seen of Sonic!! Awesome dynamic pose, it looks like he's about to make a run for it!! ^^ I love your idea of using traditional colouring, it looks of your own style and the SA style- he looks alive. :]

The background itself is pretty unique as well, as it seems to bring out the tension of whatever situation that he's in. All of it is a simply breathtaking moment, as well as inspiring.

Your style is wonderful, please keep up the great work!! ^^ It's certainly one of all of my all time favourite pictures of the blue blur.

whhhaoo thats awesome! xD sonic looks adorable... hes like a little bear I adore the pose too, Did you do this with markers? you must have used a lot of ink c= but its worth it!

Shanella has one of the most interesting styles of drawing. For some reason this makes me feel really nostalgic-like. I dunno for sure why. But I'll say this: You have a kickass coloring technique that makes your artwork stand out a-LOT. It's very inspiring, actually <3
