Description I have a passion for vintage and hats! 

So, when I came across this lovely picture of actress Naomi Watts (Ann Darrow) from the 2005 remake of King Kong, I just had to get the watercolours out!

GORGEOUS work! You managed to get such contrast and sharp details on her face with pale watercolors, which is not easy! I love the city in the background and her face the best.

At first I wondered "what's this doing in the 1920s club?" But looking at this picture (and ignoring the fact that it's from "King Kong") I'm imagining that this girl is a former flapper, who is desperately longing for  it to be the 20s again. Certainly the cold winter setting would suit that idea.
