I've sketched a few nagas, but they never get beyond the planning stage... they fascinate me, I used to draw tentacle naga beasts when I was a kid. Legs are an inconvenience, gurl!

Just out of curiosity, have you ever taken classes in design? Studied in a department dedicated to character animation or similar?
In stuff like this, I see all kinds of signals that tell me you either learned from someone who was in that field, taken the classes yourself, are actually working in the industry, or just have really awesome intuition.
Whatever it is, keep it up!
