for any others who didn't understand what this painting was about it's about local native fighter a hero who is fighting the real terrorist , that place ( sanjar ) is a rural town in northern iraq , i think , that has been thorugh many battles with the terrorist groups and has a majority of non-muslims and kurds that was oppressed by various terrorist groups who attacked this town
just google : Sinjar massacr or Genocide of Yazidis by ISIL there are many wiki articles about this
