Have you heard of Fleet Girls?I think I've come in casual contact with the concept in art I've seen in the past, but never really looked into it.
I don't know how noticeable my temporary disappearance was, but my wife was in the hospital, and I spent more time than I would usually set aside sitting and waiting and distracting myself with mindless cell phone games doing just that. (My wife is now fine, so no worries there ;D)
So I thought it truly fitting for my return to be me designing my own Fleet girl...to justify how much time I've invested in fastidious resource allocation and aquatic moe anthropomorphistic ass-kickery.
Enter the HMS Anson. I hope I have done the premise justice. Forgive me for historical inaccuracy...if that is a thing in the Fleet Girl community...which I actually suspect there is, to some degree.
Anyway, I'm back!

The work is gorgeous. The girl came out powerful. The gun platform is well developed.
All is well, but the question is, are these gun platforms drawn with an emphasis on realism, or is there no reference to historicity?

I just had a question from a friend who was interested in real warships, and he asked to ask the following on this topic:
"Do I understand correctly that you meant the battleship "Anson" of the "King George V" class? If so, then why is there no two-gun main gun turret B, the turrets of 133mm universal guns do not correspond to their historical appearance and there are turrets of 100mm anty-aircraft guns that have never stood on these battleships?"

and to your friend, I did apologize in the description for the historical inaccuracy! I used a grainy black and white photo of the Anson, and just fudged what I couldn't make out. Full disclosure, I am not a warship buff. Apologies all around!

those secondaries actually look like Mark 12 5"/38s, American secondary turrets on battleships, cruisers, and main armament on many late-war destroyers. The KGV-class used the QF 5.25" Mark 1. You can find all the info and images online, Google, Wikipedia, etc.
