A fellow Lovecraft fan! This is the fist Lovecraft inspired piece that I have seen on Deviantart, and it's a good one! Your painting actually seems a good deal more lighthearted than Lovecrafts' Cthulhu character.What I mean to say is,that while the figure of Cthulhu is colossal, it's mien seems to lack the grotesque malevolence(not to mention obesity)Lovecraft imbued his creation with.This, however, is what artistic interpretation is for.It is, in all, a rather charming picture.

I love this picture! It's so epic and impressive at the top, and then down at the bottom we have...Baby Cthulhu. XD But it still manages to be pretty terrifying despite that little detail, which is pretty damn impressive all by itself! Nice job!
