I decided to take a short break from realism, I wanted to do something relaxing and quick... Maybe it wasn't finished quite as fast as I thought it would be, but I had a lot of fun.The drawing is based on the concept from the music video of 'Na Na Na', one of My Chemical Romance songs. I've recently discovered this band, and they are so ridiculous, with all their stupid costumes and adorkable haircuts, and, above all, awesome music, that I think I've fallen in love a little.
Here's the mentioned video- [link] The drawing makes much more sense when you're familiar with it. Yup, the song itself is kinda irritating, but in a good way, at least for me...
Um, have I already mentioned that I hate drawing clothes? Sometimes it's fun, but it can really get on my nerves, especially when I concentrate on so many details... I wanted to make their costumes look like the real ones, so I spent absurd amount of time looking for the references (I think I watched this video at least 20 times -.-).
