EDIT 04.03.2013// I re-did the shading and colouring, because the picture clearly lacked contrast and I wasn't satisfied with the effect. I'm really fond of this drawing, so it was a pleasure to come back to it now that I have more experience in digital art.
Actually, I finished the corrections back in November '12, but somehow I didn't upload the new version here. Guess it's good, because I won't have anything else to post before May, as my final exams are apporaching and I'm supposed to revise for them. Yeah.

This is Taemin from a korean band SHINee. Last week I watched their video 'Lucifer' and I'm not really sure how it happened but I am a fangirl now :'D Well, my bad...

I used a screencap as a reference. I tried to convey the atmosphere of the video, but I can't decide if it turned out the way I wanted. The light was kind of strange, the colours so warm that his skin looked almost golden and I struggled a little with the adequate shades.

As always, the most enjoyable part- HAIR. I absolutely adore Taemin's haircut and I took my time with all the little details and flashes here and there. It consumed my whole evening but it was really fun.
