Description WOOOOO does 1.5 hours count as speed paint?
i used this scene in the Lucifer MV as a ref, had the vid on pause. *3*
i haven't drawn anything in AGES. this is literally the first thing i've done since the last piece...felt so rusty, i felt like scrapping this after the first 10 minutes of ugly strokes. D:!
but it's okay! i'm proud of the end result.

If you don't mind me asking, how do you do the hair? It's something i've been having a lot of trouble with.

I pick a sort of medium color, like the main color of the hair to color the main shape in. So for Taemin, his hair is a medium brown. Then I used a darker color [dark purply brown] to block in the shapes of all the shadow areas. Finally, I used a really small brush and a light orange color and did many many many individual strokes to define the shape of the hair. xD Hair probably takes the longest for me!
