The top sketches (the ones above the 9 and 3/4 sign) were done as I waited for the first clue on Pottermore (which I got!) to go up. So, please, ignore the poor structure of them. It was 1:30am, rather dark and I had been awake for 20 hours.

The bottom ones (under and next to the 9 and 3/4 sign) were done half as a challenge to myself and half "HOLEE SMOKES. Re-reading the books was one of my best ideas yet!" It was a challenge because Harry Potter is something that I've never been quite able to capture. I've tried for years to get the character faces right, to get the attitudes spot on, to express the entire story in simplest of ways but to (what I feel) was very little success.

I've pretty much been building my art skills after all these years just so I can try to capture Harry Potter and draw the characters and scenes I see whenever I think of them.

Pretty trivial, it seems, but it's the biggest challenge I've ever taken on and has been seven years in the making.

Anyways, this piece will most likely keep being updated with more Harry Potter doodles. I've barely scratched the surfaces with these!
