Life is a wilderness of twists and turns, where faith is your only compass.

Thank you! I really need to come up with a way to drag a BBQ out there so we can all enjoy the view with something to eat.

You just have to love that view!
The mountians, the clear water and the brisk chill. Yep, no wonder the Jarl let you build a house close to the lake hehhee

True, it really is one of my favourite locations! Such a lovely place with the forest and the lake, and 'close' to Riverwood and its memories, haha. That stupid claw for example...

I kind of wish I were in Nansa's shoes right now. I'd love to be standing there looking out at the lake and those mountains. *sigh*

I know what you mean, especially since I am faced with a 31+ degrees celcius today....

LadyMetaRose In reply to Sharquelle [2014-07-18 12:35:04 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, we've been 31-37c for the past week or so. And now we're having to deal with smoke from fires in central Washington.

Sharquelle In reply to LadyMetaRose [2014-07-18 22:06:24 +0000 UTC]

Oh gosh, in that case I am going to 'enjoy' my smoke-free 32 degrees...

Ugh! That sounds horrible!

Not even any 4-60 airconditioning? (four windows down, going 60 km/h)

Sharquelle In reply to LadyMetaRose [2014-07-19 13:12:20 +0000 UTC]

2-60... I locked the back two windows so the dogs can't accidentally open them when I have them with me. A dog on the autobahn is not a happy dog...

LadyMetaRose In reply to Sharquelle [2014-07-19 13:28:04 +0000 UTC]

Good plan! I can't imagine a dog being happy on the autobahn.

I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that! When I was growing up, Brazil was THE team. They were football!

But yay for Germany!

Yeah, I am a terrible promiscuous fan; I just cheered for two teams   and  . But I would switch back to monogamous when we had entered the finals and had to face each other, though...

Haha, well, that happens, especially when you were born one place and reside in another.

Well, at least you have some home country pride. I'm not Canadian, but during the Winter Olympics, I tend to root for Team Canada, especially in Ice Hockey.

Though I must say that Goat's Horn or 'Giethoorn' is absolutely STUNNING and named the 'Venice of the North' for a reason sometimes-interesting.com/2012… I've lived nearby that place for almost 8 years. My parents still do.

And a place to crash and eat is not a problem either! That is if you can deal with total insanity... I have a sign above the door of my home-office that states; the world is a mental asylum and this is the headquarters. (yes really...)

Ahhh, that has a nice exotic name... We have some pretty insane towns over here. I bet they are small for that very reason, who would like to live in a place called; hungry wolf, deformed elbow, mosquito bite, goat's horn, weird and Rectum (yes that place is really called like that and I did not translate it)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LadyMetaRose In reply to Sharquelle [2014-07-23 01:09:55 +0000 UTC]

Haha, it's just that family's last name plus "town". The population is like, 288. LOL

Sounds like Newfoundland! If you ever get the chance, look up "A Night In Dildo" by the Arrogant Worms. Yes, there is a town in Newfoundland called "Dildo."

Oh Canada!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Sharquelle In reply to LadyMetaRose [2014-07-23 08:19:40 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I once found a photograph of a townsign with that name and I was like WUUUUT?!?!? I bet that thing is stolen very often, at least that is what they do over here. It is a bit of a national sport to steal the townsign of Rectum. The town is very small and is now refusing to place it back again because of the annual costs...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LadyMetaRose In reply to Sharquelle [2014-07-24 01:10:50 +0000 UTC]

LMAO!!!!

In Colorado, people were stealing mile-marker "420," especially after they passed a law to allow the sale and consumption of marijuana in the state. They eventually decided to redo the sign as "419.99"

Yeah, it is stunning. I wish I could get capture the fresh air and cool breeze as well. I took this shot at lake Ilinalta, all the way in the back of the lake, close to the mountain pass to the  Whiterun tundra. Such a lovely spot...

All dem lakes look the same

There's a half-sunken fort, so I think it's Lake Ilinalta (the one right next to Lakeview Manor)
