Have you ever read the book Dragons Bait (I think thats what its called) by Vivian Vande Velde? I love her work, and this situation sort of reminds me of the book

No, I haven't, but if it's a good book with dragons I need to!

I do like the Scythe, and he lives in your pencil. The way you draw him, so elegantly, so savagely and pointed and smooth and scaled...it's a very neat (in the neat sense of the word, not the neato sense) picture. His physical form very much seems to mirror who he is to me, which is, perhaps, an odd thing to say, but I think a testament to your skill as an artist. you don't draw a figure and add his features to it, but draw a character and add dimensions to it.
This is just a really well done picture in particular all around, anatomy, perspective, all those good things, but I just thought I'd stop in the drop a little love on your character

So what happens? Does the dragon eventually go free? Does anyone get eaten?

Yet again another nice story to this picture. ^^ I loved reading the dialog of the picture.
