Description
This is the product of literally years in the making. I wanted to draw all the original Pokemon, but it was taking forever! I would draw some, stop, pick it up months later, draw some more, forget about it etc. etc. Finally finished!! My style changed a bit, and I also got better at anatomy. It's all here.There are a few shinies mixed in there, too! The focus of this piece was fun poses. Bet you haven't seen some of these before! Definitely not your same-ole poses.
So anyway, back to my life.

I'll certainly give you that any group picture takes a while, especially when you are doing 151 unique characters and trying not to do redundant poses all the same. I admire that sort of fortitude. I get tired just drawing 3 people.

Normally, I don't like doing a whole bunch of characters either, but I think it was some weird goal of mine since long ago to at least draw all 150. Never again...

Oh my goodness, Kakuna pulling faces at Weedle, Scyther having a crush on Jynx, Tangela playing with baby Kangaskhan (AWWW! )... most people would just have drawn regular little portraits of the Poke'mon individually and lined them all up, but you've got them interacting with each other, making it twice as fun! This is wonderful!

I can't believe you actually drew all the pokemon in 1st gen. I would've drawn about 5 pokemon and just give up on it completely!

Yay, so glad you had fun looking through everything! The butt bump was an after thought, but I'm so glad I stuck it in there. It's one of my fav interactions, too!

Why do Pikachu and Vaporeon seem like the only ones who are differently coloured? I had a hard time finding these two favourites in this art.

Oh wow... great work on simply getting this project done! Even if it took a long time to finally finish the piece, I can't help but admire the dedication and willingness to see this through.
And yep, it does seem like you got better over the course of the drawings. That's not to say the earlier drawings aren't bad (they're not, really), but there's still a stronger sense of interaction and expressiveness the deeper the list goes. It's pretty fun taking a look at each Pokemon and seeing the ideas you came up with along the way.
I salute you. No doubt, this presented a few challenges along the way, so I think it's awesome that you were able to overcome them for the sake of completing the original idea.

Thanks! It was certainly a huge undertaking. I'm glad there's no way for me to know how many hours I piddled away on this, haha. But the end result is supposed to be fun and pay homage to this franchise which has been a part of my life for over a decade.
