I've only seen the first two episodes of LoK so far and I've gotta say...I think I'm gonna have to let it grow on me.
Then again, I didn't really get into A:tLA until a couple of months/years after I first caught it on TV.

It's a bit different from tla thats for sure, it's a little older, a little darker and a lot more... industrial feeling XD. but it still has lots of silly parts too, i'm really like it as a contrast to tla. Kinda like, if i wanted tla i'd just rewatch it if that makes sense?

Yeah, I know what you mean. I didn't really expect it to be the same, but like I said I think I've just got to give it a chance to grow on me. There's less of a sense of urgency in the first couple of episodes of LoK - in tLA Aang was constantly on the run & had to learn the elements at the same time, yet in what I've seen of LoK so far is the bad guys being hinted at, but no major conflicts yet...which I guess is what I'm missing XD
I didn't really get into tLA until Book 3 Fire started airing XD I'm not entirely sure the finale actually aired over here, although I could be wrong...

I think ep 3-4 are more ACTION and CRAZY THINGS and 5 was very shippy, hehe. I think you'll like it more if you're hoping for more like, things happening.

What I meant was that Katara, being Tenzin's mom, is Ikki's paternal grandmother and maybe, since fans comment on Jinora's physical resemblance to Ty Lee, Ikki's mother, Pema, might be Ty Lee's daughter.

It's so hard for me to be patient because when i watched TLA it was already finished so i marathoned all 3 seasons.. now i have to wait a whole week for one episode! I'm so bad at this XD
