Second to last sketch dump for today.. All of these are of the same thing and don't require much in the way of a description.I bought the Blu-Ray disc of HTTYD the other day and wanted to sit down and take some notes on Night Furies. It's amazing how much more detail you can see with Blu-Ray, especially in terms of color variations. I have some ideas on what I want to do for my own Fury now, or at least I have some better ideas..
The bottom one is the new base I'm trying to sketch up for my Fury.. I only started it today, but it still needs major work, obviously in the tail and wings, but also in the legs. Constructive criticism would be nice
If you'd like me to turn this into a second base lineart, please let me know and I'll try to do so. I can't promise on being able to make MS Paint-friendly lineart though..

I remember studying this for ages, that's how I got to draw them in the first place. I couldn't draw the internals always the same, it was always tricky. The muscle arrangement was a headache. :thumb189297314: :thumb207515477: :thumb277004455:
It's still hard to get my head around the anatomy. It's always awesome to see someone else's work :3

I would actually prefer if you used just the template that's already been made, in my gallery. None of these sketches are even remotely finished and were simply for studies, whereas the template was made specifically for the purpose of creating your own characters from it.

No, stick with using the template that I've already posted in my gallery. If there comes a time where I am going to make another template with this artwork, or even more recent artwork, I will make it public like I did my last. Until then, please do not use any of these sketches as a base.
Also, I noticed, you took the copyrights off my template in your custom you posted.. Leaving the copyrights on the image is listed in the first number of the rules in its comment. They were not obtrusive, so please re-upload a version where the copyrights are still intact.
