Description Something that looks like something. ^^

References used on the hand and face. The face was very much influenced by my favorite Geisha, Suzuha. However, I didn't find the look of the white make up very fitting, so I stuck with the more olive tone.

Oh, she's a kitsune, which is why she has fuzzy ears.

I adore the angular style of this piece... I agree, I think the olive tones suit it much more than white makeup would have. Beautiful coloring, and hugely skillful artwork.

This is absolutely beautiful! I love how detailed and yet soft looking her hair is. It's really pretty, adding a few extra things to this, like those hair clips makes it that bit special.

The color mood is very well done, as is her expression. I think the way you don't really see her eyes open gives it an even more dreamlike quality. I really love all of it.

Wonderful painting! I really like the colors, especially the way the background brings out the character. I agree with not having white makeup or w/e ... I've never liked that stuff, looks really weird to me This turned out great, though I don't think I need to say it for that to be clear ^_^

The white make up is a depends on how it is done and who has done it. Real Geiko / Maiko ( Geisha ) Yes! It looks beautiful! Yet, seeing it on these guuuuurrrrllls who pretend to be Gee-sha Guuuurrrllls, it makes me want to vomit as it does look downright disgusting. X3
