First I thought it was a photograph, but when I took a closer look I could see it was a painting.

Thank you for sharing this picture. I feel intrigued and wonder "What's going on in her mind", it almost feels like she is saying "What do you want to know". The use of the red is just right to highlight those eyes. Personally, and I am not artist, I would have liked a little more colour to the iris. Wonderful work and definitely one of paintings that makes you stop and want to know more.

Thanks for your comment. That's basically the same feeling I felt when I saw the original photograph I referenced. I wanted to know exactly what shes thinking. Is she scared or afraid? or should you be afraid of her? It welcomes questions, which is what I love about it.
