Well... You made an awesome and badass work ^^. Groudon is my favourite legendary, because of its volcano theme Owo.

start with a sketch and redraw it with clean lines, look for references and tutorials to colour it and remember to render with different shades and hues! all the best

Would probably be called Delta emerald, since mega rayquaza was designed based on the delta symbol Δ. but yea, mega evolution of groudon/kyogre is definitely possible since primal reversion is said to be different from mega evolution

That would've been so much more awesome than what they ended up going with. Don't get me wrong, Groudon is my favorite legendary, but really? Ground/fire type? Now it is even weaker to Kyogre, in a legendary trio there shouldn't be one pokemon that is clearly superior to another one, though they haven't gotten that right since the lake trio from gen 4.
