What was I thinking?Little red riding hood? Well, that's her..
She's actually got grenades and guns in that little picnic basket..
I really like the blue/brown colour scheme here, so I'd love to use it again one day
I think this was just an excuse to try it out..All comments and critique welcome

The trees are so beautiful! I like the perspective you used. Looks kind of like a picture out of the real Red Riding Hood fairytale book! xD

lols, I love how she's Little "Red" Riding Hood except she's wearing brown. Either way, there's a lot of pretty colors and nice flow in the picture. It's very smooth and feels a little like it's underwater. The one thing I don't really like is how the edges don't seem very defined, but it looks like you didn't outline with ink or pencil so that makes sense. Either that or it's the scanner, because scanned stuff just doesn't ever look as good as the originals. Overall, though, it's a good pic. The flow is lovely and sort of calming.

Heheh, red wasn't so fitting with the colour scheme, but I did try to highlight/lowlight her with a little red >.<
I don't like strong outlines when watercolouring, I think it looks a little childish and 'cartoony'. The background's not supposed to be very defined though, I think it takes the focus away! xD Do you think I should define her a little more?

I think making the girl a little sharper would be good, because right now at the edges she blends into the background. Not too much sharper, though, because you're right about the strong outlines looking sort of cartoony (hehehe, I draw manga/anime type stuff). Welcomes about the critique. Your art is fun to look at.
