HAha yeah, I'm not complaining. It is fitting for him once he gets to that level, well I mean, he fought against those which supposedly defeated gold saints, so it's not farfetched. I loved when he faced the Leo Gold saint and he was all "A cub dares to challenge the mighty lion?" XDDD

They do look rather... Sailor Moon LOL I mean, I know they wanted to try a new style, but they went way overboard. The shoulder pieces and the jewels adorning them look kinda awful haha. Not HORRIBLE but not at all great. The old animation was sort of crappy too, looking back at it, but the designs were amazingly detailed. Dem gold cloths D: Although the GOD cloths were rather exaggerated, too. EVERYONE MUST HAVE WINGS XDDDD

Ah I actually liked omega's first new cloth designs, the kind of more tight fitting style of armour, but they sort of went backwards with this new pallas arc and now the cloths are bulky and awkward ><Β
As i understand it they also got a new art director or something along those lines and I preferred the old artist; new omega promo art just kinda looks cheap in comparison.Β

In the design department, I believe the new dude had previously done promo art, and fan art of the original saga which was GORGEOUS. I am not sure why he changed it so drastically if he was a fan of the old style. They should have gone for a hybrid this time, instead they just look bulky, like you say. How the hell do they move in those things XDDD
They really should have like a few design options to choose from, and if they did, it's hard to believe that this is what they found to be the most fitting 
Oh, one thing I DID orgasm over was Seiya's entrance at the bridge, before showing off his version of Atomic Thunderbolt. At least they're doing some epic entrances? They could have done much more with Libra, though.

Agreed, Generally omega seems to keep going downhill with the quality of art and animation but im too invested to drop out now xD I hope it picks up sometime soon.Β
Haha I also fangasmed but thats just anytime seiya is on screen xD I noticed alot of budget at the moment must be going into the all gradients and lighting on their cloths, particularly noticeable on seiya. If the movements were as perdy it would look decent.
xD I did not like Genbu, I dont believe he ever fully redeemed himself for the crap he put ryuho through early on. My favourite Goldy would be Tauros Harbinger x3Β

Yeaaah I saw the first episode and was like WTF IS THIS SHIT? But I wanted to give it a chance, and then I saw myself finishing all the episodes that were uploaded... and then I was eagerly awaiting the next episode to come LOL. And I ended up watching the whole damn thing, and surprisingly, I found it nice that there would be a sequel!! 
They should really throw more money at it. and the animators need to put in their effort, also. I mean, if it was MY job to bring stories to life via animation, I would pour my blood and sweat into it.
I kept waiting for him to do something truly memorable. And haha, I just had a dream about Taurus XDDDD wtf, it's probably because I had read your comment and just hadn't replied to it yet. Damn pre-conscious mind!! XD

xD I saw the opening originally on youtube, and was reminded of the original saint seiya which i had planned to watch for a while. Omega is the typical cliche bad shonen anime that I tend to enjoy way too much so I got into it pretty quick. I realised early on though that it had alot of references to the original series, so I then went on the power through the old one. I'm not sure which i prefer, but regardless seiya is now a favourite fandom of mine and I would not have got into it had I not watched omega, so i owe it that much
Animators in Japan are worked pretty hard; I guess tight budget + harsh deadlines = omega quality animation and since im not really one of them I find it hard to criticise, but yeah, at times its kind of painful to watch ><

Ah, so you didnt' watch the original? I watched that when I was a kid, so I don't remember shit! XDDD But now looking at it, it has terrible writing, horrible animation. It's really the nostalgia and the awesome armor that makes people love it.

I wish i did when I was little, and you say that its pretty bad to watch now, but I actually love it too much *.* Like I watched some and was like...right how am i going to sit through over 100 episodes of this plus movies and ovas. Then I got proper addicted and now i've watched everything and need more >< Writing is pretty bad but I kind of love the old style of animation. The hades chapter kind of misses out on the charm of the dated cel animation so it wasnt as enjoyable.Β

Yes, the old style IS something to behold, at times haha. Sometimes it's just overly cheesy. you can tell where they wanted to avoid coordinating people fighting and instead just show a flashy background with a still pose!!! Far more often than it should!!! Lost Canvas is beautiful. They should have continued that one. It was supposed to be a prequel.

I watched all of lost canvas, it was beautiful but I didnt really care much for the style. I actually kind of prefer omega style, I like edgy shonen as opposed to overly realistic. I do think canvas should have definitely got the ending it needed though. also Yato <3

Oh this is really cool! It's really neat to see the variations of him throughout his lifetime. You drew the age stages very well! You can clearly tell the difference between ages of each figure.
