Thank you very much! This was my first attempt with it, and I am planning to remake it. It was all built on a one piece leotard/unitard, so yeah XD I was insanely anal retentive about it, but in OoT, Sheik doesn't have anything on his top. When I do Brawl, it's gonna be insanely detailed XD I'm hoping to premiere that sometime next year.

You have no idea! I'm insanely anal about LoZ, and Sheik in particular. It's kind of my life. Sheik was the very first person I EVER wanted to cosplay. I literally bled for this costume. I'm really hard on people who cosplay him, myself. I actually got verbally bitch slapped recently, because someone made a Brawl, and did ALL wrong, but the person is very, "well known", cosplayer, so people full on attacked me for saying anything. I didn't attack the person, just offered constructive critiques. Yeah, their little "fans" didn't like that...
Haha to me, Sheik is a separate character from Zelda, and is just HIMself.

haha Yeah fans can really be cruel! I myself have only cosplayed once and it was simple so i always think it's pretentious of me to do so. i'm just happy you kinda get what i'm saying
That's what i think too. I just assume Zelda used her magic to change her gender as well as appearance

No worries. I know where you're coming from. I'm hard on other people who cosplay characters that mean a lot to me. I'm WAY harder on myself though.
See, I see Sheik as just him. It's not Zelda at all, but a completely different person. I have a very long theory on all this, and paper that I wrote for one of my college courses, but yeah. He's just him to me.

I wrote my own back story on him, based on my own theories. And yeah, got a perfect score on it ^.^
Heh well I do have one other Sheik outfit in my gallery, which is my visual kei version of my own design.

Thank you so much! Heh, it wasn't anywhere near easy XD The base of the costume was a white leotard, which was dyed the correct dark blue. Then, the light blue, which is stretch fabric, was sewn on WHILE the leotard was being stretched out to the correct size where it would fit right. The white fabric on the leotard was then hot glued on, WHILE I had the leotard on XD
I should really do a tutorial on this thing haha XD

lol I'm not as short as Link: that didn't stop me. I think anyone can cosplay nearly any character -- that's what is great about it. Imperfections are usually ignored (again, pointing to my Link costume... I don't have blond hair and I didn't have a sword, but people ignored those and were really friendly about the costume... even though I admit it wasn't the best or most accurate).

Yeah, I have some pictures up, I believe. They're probably in a folder, 'cosplay' or something. There are only a couple up from a few years ago... I have a ton more on a hard-drive somewhere that I never got around to posting.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing your next cosplay... it's obvious that you put a lot of time and effort into your Sheik costume
