EDIT: ...I don't even know what to say. This has gotten more views/favorites in a few hours than most of my other stuff combined. I thought ponies would get me noticed, but wow, you guys are amazing. Thank you. YEAH, YOU.FINALLY, I actually did some art this summer, told you I would... But yeah, this. I mostly did it as warm up, to get into the groove. It's just a joke, something I thought of a while back. If you don't know what Sierpinski's Triangle is, I would suggest looking it up, otherwise this makes even less sense.
Okay, three things. Firstly: why did nobody tell me how awesome/fun cel shading is?! Secondly: I think I might use this art style more. Thirdly: I finally gave in and made a custom brush, and it's pretty swank; I did this whole piece with that brush, the soft eraser, and the paint bucket a couple times. Woo.
Hooray for math, art, AND video games!

Ok, I'll go buy a 6x8' sheet of plywood, you're in charge of the .35mm mechanical pencils.

Something smoother than plywood would be better, but that could work. The smallest diameter I could find is .2mm, which should be adequate.

Then maybe a foamcore board would be better. .2mm is even better! I have a .18mm technical pen, I just need to ink it up!

The foamcore would be much better... At the smallest scales we could try using a needle to etch the surface, but I can't think of any way to go smaller without laboratory level equipment.
