I think the main problem here is that the stars go too low to the ground. If you blot them out a little more towards the middle and illuminate the ground a little more it might work better.

Ergh, I tend to forget that I have a really light monitor. There are tree silhouettes on a dark blue sky, but on a normal monitor I imagine it all just looks black. Thanks for reminding me!
