Description The next dimension and reality visited by QM-1 was one, where the League/ Union of the Three Emperors between the German Empire, the Russian Empire and Austria-Hungary never dissolved. As a result they defeated the British Empire, the French Empire, the Italian Kingdom as well as a few minor powers in this realities version of the Great War (World War), annexing a few territories and becoming the dominant powers in the Balkans, Europe and the World. Shortly after Austria-Hungary would still break apart because of internal division and ethnic wishes for national independence, leading to the German Reich to annex the German part (Austria) into the German Reich, while Galicia was made a vassal to Russia so the Tsardom have control of all ethnic Polish and Ukrainian regions and Hungary gained independence. Serbia expanded into Greater Serbia and during the Third Balkan War Turkey and Bulgaria were defeated by Russia, Romania and Italy, leading to the creation or the Russian vassals of Armenia and Kurdia. Russia modernized and defeated the a couple of peasant Rebellions with German aid, as the Germans were not interested in instability in the East or the Balkans. France would loose border lands and colonies to German Empire in Africa (German Mittelafrika economic colonial union, Togo, Upper Volta, Senegal, Guinea, Gabon, Middle Congo, Ubangi-Shari and Chad), while Germany also annexed Belgium and the Netherlands as well as their colonies and took a few colonies from the British like Kenia. As a result of the Great War the British Empire had to give it’s Dominions like Canada, South Africa, Pakistan-Hindia, Australia and New Zealand more independence within the Empire and even a new Dominion in Canada (Quebec) was created trough pressure from France who felt betrayed by the small British contribution to the land war in Europe during the Great War. Not wanting to lose France to the growing German dominated continental system, Britain gave into French demands and even gave Portugal disputed territory in Africa as without British colonies from Cape to Cairo, those colonies were no longer as vital to the British and they preferred a Portuguese buffer between German Mittelafrica and their South African Dominion.

In East Asia the once again strengthened Russian Empire, with German support forced the British Ally, the Japanese Empire to give back Manchuria to Russia, but Germany prohibited the Russians from taking more then that and South Sakhaling (Karafuto) from the Japanese, as they believed the Japanese Navy would keep the now closer to the British looking Americans occupied in the Pacific and outside of the Atlantic, so that they and the British would not combined their full fleet forces against the German Empire. Because of territorial losses, the French and Italian remained closely linked to the British Empire, especially after the rise of Fascism in Italy. Hungary was closely economic linked to Germany and Russia, while Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Turkey had lost territory to the Triple Emperor League/ Union as well, or still had territorial claims and ambitions against them. The dream of a united Arab ethnic state in the Middle East after the Ottoman/ Turkish fall was not realized, but like Russia who gained Armenia and Kurdistan, Italy gained Izmir, Konya and parts of Adana, while the British gained control of Jerusalem, Damascus, Haifa and Bairut in Syria. In Central and East Asia the Russian Empire also cemented it’s control over Norther Persia, Afghanistan, Xinjiang (East Turkestan), Greater Mongolia, Huiria (Ma) and Manchuria. While the Imperial Japanese Navy used the weakness of France to claim Indochina, the Chinese Empire weakened by recent Russian and German (Shandong) conquests and claims had to struggle for it’s survival against Socialist-Communist Suwei’ai Rebels under Mao and the Republican Kuomintang Rebels under Chiang. Because the Americans, Europeans and Japanese did not wish for instability in the Chinese market, they supported the Chinese Emperor against these rebellious movements with weapons, advisers and sometimes even expeditionary forces directly against strongholds of these movements in the central and southern Chinese Mountain Provinces. The old rule of Emperors and Kings had survived in this world and even France, defeated, weakened and humiliated during the Great War had become a Constitutional Monarchy after it’s Republican time once more, the Third French Empire.
