I love this, personally I find the colors in it appealing but perhaps that is from the title. I think this one is my favorite from the four I saw, the placement works really nice.
Over all I think it's quite beautiful, and the drawing itself is amazing. Nice job

I think it would be interesting to see what your daughter would do with a similar drawing a year or two later... to see the differences in her choices.
And that's fair... I start a lot of things, put them off for new and come back... it keeps it interesting and from getting boring

It really is, my kids get a sketchbook each year for their birthday and it's ridiculous even in a year; I'm looking forward to this next year of theirs.

I agree with Viperosity: at first glance this image is beautiful and well done: but apon closer inspection it seems that the intricate pen portrait is slightly ruined by the scribbles. To me, it feels like after hours of drawing in pen, you decided to take some colours, close your eyes, and see what you can pull off 
Regardless, it's still a great work

yes I agree it has divided most people. I'm still not sure what I think of this series of work yet but I've decided to come away from it and give it some more thought. The Imperfection series was more conceptual than my other work as it plays on themes of beauty and questions whether a model of conventional beauty is more aesthetic than the innocent and pure drawings of a young child.
Thanks for showing me this artist, his work is amazing!

I have really mixed feeling about it lol
The scribbles of color seems to be distracting, when you look at it up close.
BUT, it really comes together if you were to look at it from a distance, if that makes sense haha
Overall, pretty good job

All great things usually start out as being lesser or not as impressive. Just keep on experimenting, you'll get to a point where you can be satisfied with it

Lol yes I had the same. She was very clear about which bits I wasn't allowed to colour over. Little girls are very bossy
