Beautiful photo! Love the colours.
I lived at Fingal for 15 years, it's a great place.

I was at Fingle Head in November. It's a great spot. I hope to get down there again soon.

Nice shot!

These are the same type of rocks we have here in Victoria, vertically split collumns of igneous rock we call 'organ pipes'.

If you ever come down here, take a detour to the Organ Pipes National Park.

This photo is brilliant. Amazing details, excellent capture. The fusion of the images gives a distinctly pleasing look. It's like a slow-shutter capture, only smoother.

My partner and I are planning to head to Victoria at the end of the year to do the Great Ocean Road, so mainly the coastline. I'll definitely have to research this though, sounds awesome! And thanks for such a wonderful comment on my work, I really do appreciate it

You're most welcome. I enjoy commenting on works that take my breath away.

You'll have a blast along the Great Ocean Road, but it would be terrible to get down here and not see some of the extra sights, like the penguin parade on Phillip Island. Though, all these things generally cost money, or a slight detour.

Australia's one of those countries that has a lot crammed into every available space. Great ultramodern cities, rainforests, unique geological, geographical and meteorological occurrences etc. Strange and interesting animals. Even the koalas are very different. They're browner down here, and greyer up North.

Anyway, .

Thanks again for sharing your lovely works here on dA.

It's so true, I think a lot of people underestimate Australia, it's pretty damn amazing! Will probably start figuring out where exactly we'll go along the way. I think the idea is to do bed n breakfasts/motels every night then continue on from there so some research will definitely be needed so if you have any suggestions be sure to let me know! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment on my works, it's always awesome getting such great feedback, helps me keep going with my work and improve so cheers Keith!

You're most welcome. This is, after all, what dA is supposed to be about. We're here to share art, and give feedback to others.

I'm just excited that you're articulate and informative in your Artist's comments, too. It's a nice change from '...'.

Hrm. The Great Ocean Road is a an inspiring journey on it's own. The important thing is to stop, even when there are no tourist attractions. If you don't have an interesting view, you'll find interesting animals, insects and trees. But first, you have to get to the Great Ocean Road. If you're coming via the Tullamarine Airport, the Organ Pipes aren't far away—Just the other side of the nearby township of Sunbury (where I grew up, coincidentally).

If you're driving down from Brisbane, then you get the full travel circuit. Bit costly, either way. Housing expenses can be pretty cheap, but one of our state's only pitfalls is tourist costs.

I'll look into some things for you, but it'd be after discerning whether you're flying or driving down, first.

It always helps when people say a bit more than "wow". I mean "wow" is good but "wow I really like this about" is better! I'm not sure how we'll be travelling down yet. Bit of a trek driving from Brissy, we might hire car it after flying down but it's awhile away yet but I'll keep the Organ Pipes in mind when I'm researching places to go. Cheers again!

Most welcome! Let me know what your vague plan is when the time comes, and I could probably provide you with some places to go to, depending on where you're driving from or flying to.

Geeze we live in a beautiful country.
This shot is really lovely
I like how the ocean is greener on the right, with the yellow-er sky, and how it changes as you move across to the left to more pinks and blues. Very beautiful, like a fantasy world...

Thanks so much, it certainly is a gorgeous place and tucked away in Tweed Heads so it seems a lot of people don't realise it's there!

That's amazing I love the pastel colours and the softness of the water splashing against the rocks is really nice and gives the photo a nice, airy feel The formation of the rocks is really neat too, I think.

Thank you so much! They're actually basalt rocks, similar to the Giant's Causeway in Ireland. Cheers for the fave too!

Ohh neat, I think they're also similar to the Sawn Rocks in NSW. You're welcome
