A few minutes later~

"Okay (y/n), get the stuff on Emil, Lukas, and your lists," Tino explained as we and Berwald got our carts. "I'll go with Ber to get the stuff on our lists."

"Kks, see ya!" I sped off with my cart towards the other end of the grocery store.

I thought I heard Tino scolding me for running but I just pretended I couldn't hear him. I dug the lists out of my pocket and scanned them. Right now I was parked in the refrigerated isle, matching the items on the list with things I saw on the shelves. I pushed the cart along, getting the items I needed. I was looking down at the lists, not paying attention to what was in front of me, when I suddenly bumped into something. I suddenly looked up to see a boy with blonde hair, his back facing me. I went into extreme apologetic mode.

"OMGIAMSOSORRYIHADNOIDEAYOUWERETHEREANDIWASN'TPAYINGATTENTIONAND-"

He turned around laughing and said, "Woah, hey, it's fine! No need to be sorry!" He smiled at me and I blushed in embarrassment. He stepped closer and raised his hand. "I'm Peter!"

I smiled and shook his outstretched hand, shyly introducing myself. "My name's (y/n)." I noticed Peter had light blue eyes and his smile was really cute and-wait what? Why am I thinking about how adorable his English accent is? He's even my age! What's wrong with me?!

"Peter!" I saw an older, blonde guy with green eyes and an English accent behind Peter. "Why are you bothering girls instead of getting groceries!"

"She has a name, you know! Stop being a jerk Arthur!"

"I'm your older brother, so stop messing around and get our groceries if you want to eat for the next month!"

"Sorry (y/n), but my brother is being a rude jerkface so I have to get going. Can I get your number?"

I was surprised when he handed me his phone. No one had ever asked for my phone number before! I quickly typed my cell phone number into the contact page and hit save. I handed his phone back to him and said goodbye.

"See you later, (y/n)!"

I smiled as I finished getting everything in my cart, still thinking about Peter. I met up with Tino and Ber, who were in line to pay for our groceries. I still had that stupid smile on my face as we paid for everything. We went outside and shoved everything into the trunk of our car. I got in and slammed the door shut. When Tino and Berwald got in, they immediately started interrogating me.

"Why are you so smiley?" Tino smiled and turned around in the passenger seat to look at me.

"What do you mean?" I asked. I tried to tone it down but I couldn't help it. Sure, boys had hit on me before, but they were never genuine. Peter was extremely different.

Berwald started driving home while participating in the interrogation. "You're never this happy," he stated, "ever since you met back up with us in the store, you've been extremely happy."

"Oh, it's nothing," I tried to lie. I looked out the window, letting my (h/c) hair fall in my face, trying to conceal the prominent blush on my cheeks.

"I know you're lying, (y/n)," Tino chuckled at my failed attempt.

"Well..." I hesitated but gave in. "There was........" I murmured.

"(y/n), I can't hear you when you mumble~" Tino sang.

"A BOY!" I exploded in excitement. "There was a boy I crashed my cart into and he was really nice about it and he's my age and he's English or something and-"

"Woah there! Slow down," Tino laughed. "So there's a boy, that you haven't dissed, and that seems decent enough for your liking?!"

"I even gave him my number!"

"Be careful (y/n), you shouldn't give strangers your number," Berwald warned.

"I know, but he was my age, and he was super sweet about me ramming my cart into him!"

Berwald parked the car in the driveway and turned the engine off. I got out and grabbed as many bags as I could hold, which was a lot. I made my way to the front door and Lukas opened it for me. I mumbled a quick, "Thank you," and headed inside. I dropped all the bags off at the kitchen table and went back out to grab some more.

When everything was inside, we all started to put the groceries away. I was putting cereal in the pantry when Emil nudged me with his elbow. I turned to him, questioningly. He raised his eyebrow and I knew what he was about to ask.

"Why are you smiling so much?"

Tino butted in and just had to spill the details on our earlier conversation. "(y/n) has a new boyfriend!" He laughed and I rolled my eyes.

Suddenly Lukas appeared out of nowhere are stared me in the eyes. "(y/n)," he said slowly. "Is this true?"

"No! I just met a boy at the store today, that's all! We barely know each other!" I laughed at Lukas' relieved reaction. He's too protective of me when the topic of boyfriends arise. Suddenly, my phone vibrated in my pocket.
