218 137 taking on fuel at Cologne Central, on a bitter cold morning in December. Not diesel, but a hot cup of coffee for the driver. This is one of the older shots I wanted to submit, as it shows a mighty class 218 diesel engine two days before the last one of them left Cologne for good.

Earlier that day, I also caught 218 425.

Which was the last one that departed from Cologne two days later, ending the era of diesel locomotives in this region.
