I was playing through Kirby's Dream Land 3 for the first time a few weeks ago and was awestruck by the game's amazingness... I had never played it when I was little because I was under the impression that it was "for babies" due to a commercial in a Toys R Us. I choose Super Mario Kart over it. For those of you who don't know it, the original Super Mario Kart was not very good. It was impossible.

So I was playing Kirby's Dream Land 3 a few weeks ago and decided I needed to do some tribute art to the game's awesomeness. The only kind of negative aspect to the game is it's missing the various moves per power that Kirby's Super Star (also amazing) had to offer. But that's basically why I drew this.

So the characters in the piece are the two playable characters and the various helper characters that appear through the game. They are, from left to right:
Kine the Fish, Nago the Cat, Gooey, Coo the Owl (behind Gooey and Kirby), Kirby, Rick the Hamster, Pitch the Bird (on top of Rick), and ChuChu the Octopus.

Towards completion I had cut my thumb... so some aspects of it are sort of sloppy... but overall I'm pleased with how this came out.
