Emphasis on doodle dump ;3 My friend likes the simple style and I was too lazy to do more than colour a couple of scruffy sketches.

My friend and I had nothing better to do this weekend and with people uninterested or ill, we were left to our own devices as to how to entertain ourselves. So what better way to make merriment than to take our existing Alex and Bill pirates and attempt to play a simplified DnD style game with them. We've been writing with them for over eight years now, so why the heck not ;3

Here comes the DnD ramble... We made pretty much everything up, though I did kind of take control on the second night so we felt like we had some direction, but that just resulted in Alex being used as a meatshield that could be directed by my friend xD We had a little trouble making them into functioning DnD classes, so mixed things up a bit - Bill is a kind of pirate/fighter/swashbuckler, but goes with swashbuckler for the ease of things. Alex is... well his sheet has his class down as a "WTF", since I can't come up with a name. He's a kind of fighter/barbarian mix, if only because he is all about strength and constitution - he's immortal (this isn't all that fun to play as his health is a pain to keep track of) and stronger than your average guy ;D And he also has a kind of rage ability, which he can pick to use, like barbarian. Then we have our own made up special abilities/skills, like Bill has 'seduction' as a skill and can get bonuses against certain enemies (like favoured enemy I suppose), while Alex's special abilities are mostly against him, beside him regaining +1HP every round in combat. He has to make will saves almost constantly when around evil/chaotically aligned enemies we've created, and if he fails (which he does a lot >.>), he either just stands there in combat and does nothing, or flips out and attacks the nearest ally. This is the closest we could get for his tendency to lose himself to the evil things in his head and go ~demonic~ xD But because he can deal quite a bit of damage, when he does hit, we let Bill have a special manoeuvre to get the chance to move out of his way ;D It's a good thing he has a reasonable health though because immortal or not, endurance/diehard feats or not, he wears pretty much nothing so has a super low armour class. He's hit almost all the time xD But no one seems to care, and with no rogue, he's the one to walk into traps. Two evenings and he's been hit with arrows, set on fire, hit by a swinging blade, fallen down a hole... Just the beginning ;D

To be fair, even with rules that we twist a little, these two came out relatively like they are in our writing, so that's good enough for us ;D And since we had a naval battle with our ships too, we were even more content ;3 ... Even if Alex's over the top beast of a ship that's him making up for something (like men with fast cars ;D), was one hit away from sinking >.>

If anyone can come up with a class name for Alex I will give out cookies - trying to sum up, as my friend put it, an immortal occasionally demonic pirate captain farmer, who is strong, slightly inhuman, prone to killing things, and is most skilled at riding and handling animals rather than piratey things, is not easy xD

And I'm sure I'll do something a little better some time this week to make up for this mess ;D Maybe a little Grayson... Or just more Alex ;D
