A great piece. I can very much relate to this; my best friend and I often hike through our favorite woods not far from where we live. It is a very beautiful and magical place for us, and now logging and construction has begun. My friend won second-place in a short story contest with her viewpoint and feelings on the destruction.

I wish - still looking for an affordable copy. I've seen how Painter can aid artists with textures and brush features and I'm pretty sure I'd love it. Right now still just using Photoshop. Thanks

To be truthful, every one of your works feels terribly personal, so I feel like I'm peeking into someone's life with far too much information each time I observe a piece.
This is probably the my favourite one by far.
The atmosphere and the concept along with every technique make this piece mysterious, horrifying and beautiful at the same time - in the most mesmerizing way.
I really like the sad feeling it leaves you with, though there are many conflicts about the image.
The fact we can't see her face makes it all the more bizarre, in a way awkward, but in another adding a whole new dimension of emotions to the piece.
