I'm going to have to apologize to Mary Russell readers for stealing the title off my fav book in that series- sorry if I burst your bubble there XD

Anyways, this was the actual picture I went with as opposed to the other similarily robed dog I submitted previously.

I've had something of a thing for the Middle East for years, starting with a childhood interest in Egypt, and going in and out of my mind in other ways since. Probably something random nobody really knows about me actually. Back when I was younger and more impressionable I brought up to my Mom my interest in going there someday and she shot me down so fast I kinda clammed up about it. I'm sure she was just concerned of her daughter going to a dangerous region, but still. Anyways, it came back a few times since, and recently I learned of a trip available through my university to take archaeology students on a dig to Isreal! As I'm majoring in anthropology, I'm definitely planning to go and full fill a couple dreams in one! I'm also taking Arabic this next year- allegedly one of the hardest launguages for English speakers to learn... and I suck at languages. We'll see how that goes XD

I, uh, couldn't find a ref photo of Jerusalem from a helpful angle, so I just made it up- er I mean, used artistic license to convey a particular setting XD I also totally made up the outfit for fun. No I probably will have no need to disguise myself in made up clothing from a hundred years ago... but it was fun to draw. I also really love aladdin pants.
