Comments: Two paintings in less than a week! I must be on paint thinner or something. The more I look at this, the more I like it... And for those of you who aren't understanding the title, it's a red fox... get it? In a forest? If you still don't understand, I highly suggest making an appointment with some sort of doctor.
Time: About 5 hours
Sketch: Done in Photoshop CS5.1 in roughly 15 minutes
Tools: Wacom Intuos4 | Mac Computer | Photoshop CS 5.1 | Mouse

LOL but I think your fox kinnda looks like the head and body of a fox, the legs of a rabbit kinda, the front of a female deer, and th ears and tail of some sort of a mystical creature but ntl very cute!! <3

My focus was not realism, obviously, considering that the trees are full of swirls... This wasn't an anatomy study, either, so. I'm not sure if you look at what you've said as a good thing or a bad thing, but to me it's exactly how I wanted it.

This is lovely, the colour contrast is really soft and fluffy- and I love the little details; the snow from his heels and swirly bark on the trees.

I love the light ! Your fox is fantastic, really cute expression and i love all the small details like the paw prints in the snow and the bits of snow on the feet.
He/she looks like he's/she's happily frolicking in the snow!
