This is truly beautiful. I'm sorry for your loss, I know pets are some of our closest companions and it's always hard to lose one.

thankyou. One of my vets inspired this originally two years ago as she whispered the opening line to a sick and hurting kitty she had just euthanised. I immediately had to go and write that whole thing down. I didn't have to edit a thing, or really think about the lyrics. It just flowed out.

*nods* and he was very sore, and very confused/scared at the end. ;_; That's what cemented it for me, that he was acting half anesthetized... wobbly, uncoordinated and he was scared. ;_; So because of that, I'm only sad for me, not him.
