This pic belongs to White_Aster. It's a concept pic for a fanfiction she is writing of Optimus Prime without his exterior armor plates (aka nekkid OP
) sort of praying to the matrix of leadership. She had asked for a stained style/art noveau theme for the scene, and that made me SO happy. I love anoveau so much I cannot explain. >w<

I am a huge fan of art nouveau. Bringing the futuristic aspects of Transformers (in and of themselves) in line with a more flowing, organic art nouveau style is difficult, but you did a good job! I like it!

That's beautiful! I love the way you draw transformer faces, and the highlights on the metal are perfect as usual.
If you don't mind criticism, it looks as though you may have drawn his hands a little too big, or at least the fingers. Particularly on his left hand, they ought to be about one segment shorter (but obviously without actually removing the segment from the hand assembly, that would be silly)
It could just be the effect of the rest of the armour being removed throwing me off, and this is only my opinion, so feel free to ignore.

You are right in your assessment. The hands are a bit bigger than what's proportionate because I more or less drew an Optimus with armor on, and then thinned and reduced the armored places, which sort of unbalanced everything a bit (he's also kinda big headed for a transformer, on that same account).
Even if it was intentional this time, I assure you it's not always so xD Getting these things pointed out helps me get things betters for following pictures, son don't hesitate on pointing them out 0w0
