The large man didn't ask further, but now made his decision on what he should spend his first work salary on.

Once free time was in his grasp, he headed on to purchase said item. He checked it almost obsessively to make sure he was even buying the right item. There weren't many choices--but was the printed pattern really of roses? He didn't want to give the girl some flower-printed sheets of a plant she actually didn't like! Well, all this came mostly from the pressure of spending money for the first time here. He did buy it eventually, even had it wrapped and placed it in his pouch bag just in case the celebrant passes by and catches him.

Been meaning to draw this scene for A WHILE o)----< Oda wanted to give her a good gift since she's been so nice to him ever since he got here! A warm welcome in the cold of winter definitely helped the man feel more at ease in such a new environment.
