Mieu is lovely~ It's actually one of those rare occasions where I actually prefer the portrayal of an English voice actor over the original seiyuu. I swear, Mieu's English VA simply made him 1000x cuter and huggable~! xD

Some English voice actors really work so hard and I especially love the cast of TOA, I love Luke's voice. >u< I think English voice actors are growing much in this area and that's why I started watching some dubbed anime. =3

I completely agree!! Lol, I watched the TotA anime before, and trust me, I couldn't really get into most characters except for some like Ion/Sync's Japanese VA (Ion/Sync's English VA failed to capture the innocence/sexy boyish voice of Yumiko Kobayashi imo. It just felt too forced).
Yuri's version of Luke (and Johnny's Guy) will always be the perfect voices for them! I think they really did their characters with justice (and more believably)~
I agree! I think with the advent of Funanimation, anime voice acting has been given more attention to compared to how it was back then. C: I actually have more respect for them now and admittedly have some favorite English VAs as well. xD (Though it's true that there are still few animes out there were the English dub just...fails at delivering things. Like with Clannad imo. ;A; )

OMG, I forgot about the anime! ROFL! I was trying to remember where I heard the Japanese voices because I was sure that I knew them quite well. *fail* I definitely like Ion's seiyuu.
I like few English voice actors like Vic and most of the people who dubbed The Slayers. <-- watched it when I was a kid.
I heard a funny story about Yuri (Luke's voice actor), that Tales of Vesperia's main character is called Yuri Lowell but too bad he can't voice him since TOA was before and they tend to change the crew. I laughed so much about it. xD
