LOL!! Look at my BG! ROFL! I'm not a BG person after all~ xDDD Well at least I'm trying.So This is Anise again~ From the game/anime Tales of the Abyss. I don't know why I'm drawing Anise all the time out of all the characters & my old deviation of Anise is so ugly! o.o OMG!
I don't have a scanner so I actually took a picture by my sister's digital camera to try out drawing a lineart from an existing sketch and it was difficult of course because I'm sure no one would do that. xDD

Ah, I really like how you drew Anise in this picture! Especially the way you drew/colored her hair...it makes it super soft (like I always imagined Anise's hair would be like in real life, lol).
It's good to see you trying out bigger canvas and drawing full body pictures now! It's something I need to stat doing myself because I'm so adverse into drawig half-body pictures, lol. xD

I drew her in my sketch book so that's why I was able to draw her with full body. I have a hard time doing that digitally.

Oh, same here! I seem to have a hard time drawing full body pictures on my tablet because I had to scroll and stuff constantly unlike directly sketching on actual paper. It's easier for me that way because I could just scan it and retrace it, allowing me to correct the mistakes and stuff. C:

Hey, for not using a scanner to get the line art, that's way impressive! I find traditional art easier to make intricte backgrounds with, but that's just me.

Yes traditional art can be easier but I've never done real backgrounds traditionally before.
Mixing with the two gives good results, because the sketch you do on a paper (well, for me that is) seems to be more accurate and of course it has straighter lines unlike the sketch I do digitally which then makes redrawing the lineart so much difficult at times and tedious.

This is a nice coincidence, actually! I recently started playing Tales of the Abyss again. And really, I rather like Anise. She's maybe a little bit annoying, but really, she's grown on me...

Yay~ Finally someone who played the game and likes Anise! ^^ Did you beat the game? The anime is good too but I think the game has more details. LOL! Actually I'm playing Shining Force EXA but my obsession turned the other way. xDDD

Lol well I can't do backgrounds at all. (Mostly because I'm not daring enough...)
I did beat it, and I'm on my second playthrough right now. I'm visiting all of the dungeons and completing all the sidequests that weren't available the first time. I watched... a little bit of the anime, but I stopped because Legretta (Regret?) looked too weird... Too... I don't know... masculine? She looked a bit manly to me. (Actually, I think all of the God-Generals looked a little strange in the anime.)

She's riding on Tokunaga, he's small most of the time and can be seen as a packbag but actually during fights Anise uses him and fights and he gets that big.
