I have come to the conclusion that this is why Celestia made Equestria the way it is.
She hated the technology, and was appalled by it so when she made/created/teleported into Equestria, she made it without any technology, so this wouldn't happen.

just so you know, it's REALLY hard to find good Webcomics with ponification (act of TFing into a pony) with a good art style AND good story, if any at all.
