A retort to being branded a vandal in a local paper...people were complaining because their Taxes were going in to cleaning up my "Artivism" of course they weren't bothered that their taxes were being spent on the destructive weapons and illegal invasion that my paste-ups of the time were highlighting.Related content

i like. good message. i'm anouther who was busted for er... 'publicly displaying my art for free' and fined. i wonder what they would think if i pinned this up for them. get them to stop being so damn hypocriticle. (sp?) probably not... but it would be fun nonetheless.

Ah, you should know better... You can kill a person, kill a lot of people, destroy the planet, bomb starving children in poor third-world countries and you can be elected president against the people's will. But you can never, ever, instigate the revolt. That's just wrong.

All of your stencils are great.... both in style and in message but this one really points out an over looked truth. You know protesting equals bad yet war is neccessary. Like all of the hype surrounding this prisoner abuse scandal....the media and the public appear to to be shocked by the abuse of iraqi prisoners, while they just except carpet bombing and mass civilian casualties..... of course the proverbial vandalism is in their face .... the war can always be turned off in their mind....like a television.. in short the piece is true in so many ways...it made me think .. keep up the good work!!
