Definitely Ichigo and I like Kubo's art style the most. Also his style resembles the comic styles I grew up look at the most. Example include Jim Lee, The Late Great Michael Turner, Tony S. Daniel and few others whose names escape at moment.

Well, I just really enjoyed his niavite in the series while he was a scrappy little thing. It was funny to watch things fly over his head or when he'd still be super nice to someone after a fight, even if they weren't such a nice person. plus I liked the fact that he continued fighting simply because it was fun. He protected people, but when it came down to it, he continued traveling and fighting simply cause he enjoyed it. When every other anime character has super big goals (which isn't a bad thing), it's nice to have that one character that's just doing what they're doing because they like it and being the best, while would be great in their eyes, isn't their top prioity.

I thought it was pretty original too but then it was a bit of let down when I found out that most of Dragon Ball was heavily inspired to an old chinese classic novel with Sun Wukong as protagonist (it has quite a lot of influences on many other stuff). But the original super sayan part was quite cool too

Well everything draws inspiration from something. Whether it be life or another myth. I did like the super saiyan saga too. I think its funny. Toryama didn't intend from the begining that goku would be a saiyan, but there were so many jokes about him being inhuman in dragon ball that it created completely unitentional forshadowing.

Well, it did get a bit out of his hands though, with this whole Dragon ball super saga, but I do understand that one must keep earning for retirement :/ I only hope animations and stories could be taken care of a little bit better

Dragon ball z was probably the start of this narrative stereotype for shonen jump mangas, maybe there some I don't know that came up earlier with similar pattern, dunno.

Maybe it was because of character developement in previous arcs that didn't happen in GT? I mean with cell, we got future trunks and Gohan's assention, buu completed vegeta's redemption arc, Frieza was the the first time super saiyan was even a thing

I see, good point. Well, in GT there's the ssj4 that comes after the mastery of the human love for his earth over the gorilla destructive insticts.
While in the last part it was the redemption for the misuse in the previous adventures of all the 'convenient' wishes they asked for to make everything perfect.
