I found this anime (Princess tutu) a while ago and rather enjoyed it so I thought it would be fun to make a small fanart of duck as she's somewhat different from what I usually tend to draw~It's hard to tell if this series is just super unknown or if I'm just not finding a lot of other fanart of it //rubs chin
I do recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched it yet though, it's a lot more interesting and --weird than the title would indicate !

There's some bit of fanart out there, but it's an older anime, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's lesser known. Then there are the fans that still love the series and still cosplay the characters

My sister began watching this a few years back and sorta jumped onto the bandwagon with her. It was a great series, the comedy was great, but I felt it dragged on for a bit.
The detail on those frills looks amazing! Great work m8.

!!!!!!!! this was my gateway anime LOL I discovered it because of this carameldansen amv when I was 10, found the series name and watched it... which then led me to look for more anime (magical girl ones of course lol)
though this mahou shoujo was pretty unique imo and I love the foggy atmosphere of the setting?

I agree though! I'm not really one to watch many mahou shoujo aside from things like madoka but I still feel this one is special hhhH
The atmosphere really reminds me of the original grimms fairy tales, just that it's maybe just a little more forgiving haha

oh yeah youre right! welp its still a pretty pg story so cant have it killing any characters dkgsn tho i like those kind of stories also because sometimes it feels like authors kill characters just to make me feel attached to the story, but princess tutu did well without it
sure it felt slow at times but the ending was very satisfying :0 something anime is known to be bad at //shot
