It's hard to say why, but I love swoobat so much. It's just so damn cute and silly looking and it's got a heart-shaped nose! X3 I'm totally training one of them. I'm so in love with swoobat that I was compelled to draw and colour one (realistically, of course). I even threw in a swoobat face from the front and woobat sketches. And look, I actually bothered to skan these instead of taking crappy photos!Sadly, It wasn't until I was putting the images together that I realized that woobat's feet are anatomically incorrect for a bat. I forgot bats have weird backwards feet. Oops.

Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental
hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the

Ooh! I like your Swoobat! I've looked up other realistic versions of this Pokemon.. but it seems your version is the best one! XD The rest of them didn't feel or look right..

Haha, thank you! (by the way, this is the same person on a new account) But I think I've now been outclassed by Arvalis's lovely depiction in his Noivern piece. But I'll look into drawing a new realistic swoobat in the not-too-distant future.

anyhow - I wanted to say that the realistic renderation of this sweety was a nice try and the coloring on it is actuly great too!
I myself love Swoobat aka Korokomori, think it's a lovely bat,
and love th fact they incorperated the heart shapes in it *__*
as bats are awesome and therefor 
I only don't like the baby bat form,it look so silly >_<'

I have to say...when Woobat was first released I was thinking along the lines of
And then I saw Swoobat and firmly decided that I was getting a Woobat at all costs <3

Aw man, awesome work. I love how you did this, your attention to the details of bat anatomy is most impressive. You nailed the colors as well, and I love the texture you got going with the colored pencils. Fine job all around!

Yes, the bottoms of bat's feet face forward. That's why they hang upside down and can't walk.
