Fascinating; I can really feel the gloom here, the way the shadows pass over the city/fortress in particular, while the light ends right after the bridge.
To the victor go the spoils...or what's left of them after war has ravaged the land.
Wish it were in a larger size so I could look at it more closely, love the detail in this!
